For Spring Break, I, Sheila, went to Las Vegas with my family of 4 and my aunt and uncle. We decided that we all needed a break from our home and everyday activities. The drive there took much longer than it was supposed to because my family made so many stops along the way. We left Orange County around 9 a.m. and didn’t arrive until around 5 p.m.
My uncle booked rooms for the family, so we stayed in the hotel and casino New York, New York for the next 2 nights. When we first arrived, my brother and I explored the casino and discovered that the hotel had a roller coaster. We roamed some more and looked in the shops while the adults were finalizing the information about our rooms. When they finished, we went to the Las Vegas Strip South. For dinner, we ate at Rio buffet and then went back to our hotels to shower and change into night clothing. At around 10 p.m., my family (except for my dad) headed out to walk down the strip. We went to The Shops at Crystals and crossed to the Cosmopolitan. We watched the water show at Bellagio and then headed back to New York, New York.
The next day, we went out to eat and then shopped at Las Vegas North Premium Outlets. Later that night, we roamed the streets some more. My aunt and uncle left to go home, and my family of four ate at Wicked Spoon Buffet in the Cosmopolitan. After we ate, we walked to Bellagio and shopped for a bit. We went to Paris, Aria, and the Venetian to watch the gondola rides. My brother and I ended up going back to MGM grand, and took photos of the scenery around us.
Las Vegas is a popular place to visit because of the many places to visit and interesting people. I have been there many times before, but I never get bored when I go. I recommend going to Vegas for the fun experience!
